Some call them cabins. Some call them cottages. Either way they are exceptionally clean full housekeeping units. All of our cabins / cottages have been recently renovated. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen with a full size refrigerator, a 4 burner gas range with oven, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, and silverware. A bath with shower, satellite color TV with remote, free wireless internet access, bed and bath linens, cement patio with picnic table, a Weber BBQ kettle, and lawn chairs complete our cabin amenities. For your comfort, all units are air conditioned and heated. Our studio cabin sleeps 3, our one bedroom cabins sleep up to 5, and our two bedroom cabins sleep up to 9 persons. A stall for your boat in our new steel boat dock is included free with each cabin rental. All you need to bring is food and your beach towels.
Would you like to bring your own cabin? Then park your RV right here in our resort. Our RV guests enjoy all of the same resort facilities that our cabin guests do including our rental boats. Each of our 20 graveled and leveled sites has water, 30 amp electric hookups, and sewer connections. All of our sites overlook our central park area or the lake and some are shaded by tall hardwood trees. We offer both short and long term site rentals.
WE ARE THE ONLY RV PARK WITH DIRECT LAKE NORFORK ACCESS – NO other RV park on Lake Norfork offers resort type amenities, dock access, boat rentals, and proximity to the lake like Hand Cove Resort and RV Park.
We are animal lovers and have a dog of our own, so we know how important it is to be able to bring your pets. Some of our cabins have been set aside for guests with pets. Your well behaved dog or cat is welcome with advance notice. Please let us know about your pet at the time you make your reservation. We have special areas of our grounds to walk and exercise your pet. As a courtesy to our other guests, please keep your pet attended to at all times and on a leash when outside of your cabin or RV. You are responsible for any damage caused by your pet.
At Hand Cove Resort and RV Park, you'll enjoy fast and easy lake access. You can fish or swim from either our swim/fish deck, or from our 1/4 mile shoreline. There are several good bank fishing spots, and there are great places to swim in the lake. Feel like a morning hike? Then explore part of the up to 550 miles of primitive shoreline of Norfork Lake. The lake shore, along with our grounds offers an abundance of native plants and wildlife. If you are not a hiker, then do your exploring, fishing, swimming, or tubing from the comfort and convenience of a rental boat. Whether you are a cabin or RV guest, our rental boats will carry you to all of the best Norfork Lake has to offer.
Bringing your own boat? Just back it into the water on the hard surface concrete launch ramp next to our dock, pull your vehicle out, and either park in our large parking area at the launch, or near your cabin.
Our new steel private covered illuminated 11 stall boat dock is located a short distance from the main lake channel in a protected cove. You will sleep well each night knowing that your boat is safe and secure from the elements. Each stall is well lit, and has electrical outlets to power your battery chargers and other equipment. Our new well lit fish cleaning station has electric outlets and running water.
Our new boat dock can be seen easily from most of our resort cabins. With the resort's boat dock so close to the launch ramp, it is easy to launch and dock your boat. Pull right up to our dock to unload coolers, food, fishing gear, water toys, and then head out for some lake fun.
Two full service marinas are a short boat ride away. They offer fuel sales, fishing guide services, bait, snacks, ice, etc., and full service marine repairs.
Norfork Lake's only white sand beaches are 5 minutes away from our resort by boat. The beaches are a favorite place for vacationers to beach their boats, swim, picnic, fish, sun, and build sand castles. Bonfires are a normal happening on the weekends. Hop into your boat (or rent one of ours) and join the fun!
