Protected by the hills and undisturbed forest surrounding Hand Cove, our new dock is a focal point for anglers and summer lake lovers alike.
We accommodate today's pontoons, larger fishing boats and taller ski boats in our new steel dock boat stalls. And if that was not enough, our new swimming and fishing deck is pretty unique on Norfork Lake with water level lounge seating area. We have added fish attracting lighting and cover for those with a hankering for angling.
The really cool thing about a Norfork Lake beach is that you need a boat to get to them. There are no roads. Talk about seclusion. The best approach is a pontoon to “beach” on the beach. No boat?, No problem! We have access to a virtual fleet of rental boats or jet skis through our marine partners.
Sand under your feet, a gentle breeze off the lake, Ozark hardwoods swaying behind you, your favorite song on the radio, the kids building a castle, the dog chasing little fish in the shallows, clear clean blue Norfork Lake water dead ahead. You're on a Norfork Lake beach.
If you’re thinking:
You’re thinking Hand Cove Resort, the gateway to the Hand Cove/Jordan Recreation Areas of Norfork Lake in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains!
Call them whatever you like. Jordan Island, Sand Island, Sandy Beach, Barren Point Beach, Blue House Bluff Beach, they are all the beaches of Norfork Lake’s Hand Cove/Jordan Recreation Areas.
The beaches are the place to be in the summer. There's 6, so close you can see most from the Hand Cove Resort complex.
Every thing you need for your day at the beach can be found right here. Pack up a lunch or grab a pizza and slushies from the marina. Whatever your needs, we can give you a hand with it all.
